Week 8A: Get Visual (Alternate Assignment)

Between Instagram and Youtube, the current social media visual platform for Churchboy Beats would have to be Instagram. This is the platform that we use on a weekly basis and engage more with our followers. We currently have 318 followers and it is effective for our business because it helps to get our music out to more people because everyone doesn't use Soundcloud, which is the primary platform that we upload our music to. We usually post weekly on Instagram. We try to post content at least twice a week. We use top trending hashtags for music and production, such as #music, #musicproduction, #musicproducer, and #recordingengineer. We also use hashtags that describe our music such as #hiphopbeats, #instrumentals, and #mellowhiphop to name a few. Along with hashtags that describe our company and the type of music we create, we also use hashtags for the city that we want to market to such as #losangeles or #inlandempire. We do this to broaden our reach on Instagram and hopefully gain new followers. We follow around 41 other businesses on Instagram, but we also follow over 150 music producers and music artists all of which are either professional or independent. We mainly network with the other music producers and artists for business opportunities such as collaborating songs.
